Music of the Senses
UMCM was joined by representatives from the Synaesthesia Association for this concert in May exploring the Senses. As part of Earlsdon Festival this event at the Methodist Church included an exciting exhibition of Synaesthetic Art. The musical programme included a performance for flute and dancer of Debussy’s Syrinx and Darren Marc Leaper and Cecilia Xi ended our concert with Khachaturian’s sparky piano duet Sabre Dance.
Scintillating Cabaret
We performed in the Big Comfy Bookshop on October 30th with a selection from old time music hall and contemporary music, poetry, original short theatre pieces, dance, spooky stories, a wolf, a hen and a severed head. And a guest appearance from the group The Paper Circus.
