A Dream of Midsummer

We were privileged to be able to host this all day event in June at the church of St John the Baptist in Fleet Street, Coventry, a beautiful and ornate medieval church with a superb acoustic.

This full day of music started mid-morning and featuring guest soloists and groups. There were so many highlights including included a concert by piano pupils of Darren Leaper and Cecilia Xi, with several promising child pianists making their concert debuts. Darren and Cecilia performed in the evening concert, which finished with a stunning set by opera mezzo-soprano Katharine Taylor-Jones, receiving a deserved standing ovation.

Hallowe’en Cabaret

Later in the year we enjoyed what has become an annual event for us, our cabaret at the Treehouse Bookshop.
